13-year-old Matěj Hošek turned his love of the metro, trams and trolleybuses into an incredible business called MAAPPI. He draws detailed maps that represent the world as he sees it and people are wearing those maps as backpacks, t-shirts, designer dresses and more! Matěj hopes to someday create actual train stations and trams and no doubt his unique talent will allow him to make an incredible mark on the world.
Matěj's parent's faced challenges common to many families with children with autism, difficulties finding the proper schooling environment and intervention programs, but amidts the struggles, they discovered their son's passion, and then they fostered it. When parents believe in the intelligence and capabilities of their own children, their opportunities for success are endless!
